DMD CREATED A VERY PERSONAL package for Chef Vivian Howard’s heartfelt first cookbook. Howard is chef and co-owner of Chef & the Farmer in Kinston, NC and star of the award-winning PBS television series A Chef’s Life.

Combining Rex Miller’s documentary-style photography with Tatsuro Kiuchi’s painterly illustration and carefully chosen typography, best-selling Deep Run Roots swept the IACP Awards, winning in four categories (Cookbook of the Year, Julia Child First Book, Chefs & Restaurants, General Cookbook).
